Alan Williams is one of the leading voices in youth sports. He is a consultant and the founder of Teammates Matter - an organization dedicated to putting
perspective back into teamwork.
Throughout the past five years, more than 500,000 students and parents nationwide have been impacted
by his school programs . Because of the relevance of this 'team' driven message, Alan has also spoken to numerous Fortune 500 companies and
worked closely with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the V-Foundation for Cancer Research. Alan also focuses on leadership, redefining
success and character development.
Alan is the author of Teammates Matter: Fighting for Something Greater Than Self—a culmination of memories and
lessons learned as a walk-on basketball player at Wake Forest University. After playing only 59 minutes in 4 years on his college team, Alan speaks from
the perspective of an athlete who was not the star of the team and was forced to learn about what really endures.
Jay Bilas of ESPN says, "Anyone who values sports and leadership will benefit from the Teammates Matter message."
